What is Blinds between Glass?
Combining traditional louvers with Double glazed glass not only saves space and inconvenience, but also realizes the comprehensive performance of insulating glass heat preservation and louvers.
The blinds between glass, also called Integral Blinds in Double Glazing, which has the functions of louver lifting and turning angle of 180 degrees, and the operation control of the louvers is realized by manually or electrically controlling the closing device and the lifting device. The blinds between glass can realize the lifting and turning of the louver, with reasonable structure and easy operation. It has good sun-shading performance, improves the insulation performance of insulating glass, improves the indoor light environment, and is widely used in energy-saving building doors and windows.
How to Customized Blinds between Glass?
Spacer: 16A, 19A, 23A, and others can be customized
Please confirm frame width at site, and choose right spacer of integral blinds IGUs, it’s very important, and relate to the installation.
Maximum area: 1.8 – 2.8sqm
Maximum width: 1 – 1.2m
Maximum height: 1.8 – 2.8m
Minimum width: 0.35 – 0.4m
Minimum height: 0.4m
Choose the type of louvers according to the appropriate width. In principle, manual louvers are equipped with 5mm single tempered glass as standard, if other thickness, 3mm, 3.2mm, 4mm, 6mm will be different.
1-The depth of the groove, according to our past experience, needs to be increased by 30mm, that is, the depth of the groove is 15mm
2-The left and right guide grooves of the product are 15mm away from the edge, and the upper and lower guide grooves of the product are 20mm away from the edge (See Pic 1)
3-The project needs to be marked as a door or window, and the line drawing of the finished door and window elevation (the hollow shutter door is usually dimmed and fixed at the position facing the lifting handle. There are guardrails and their positions, and whether they are covered. Hollow shutters are normally set at 200mm from the lower corner by default for dimming handles and lifting handles)
4-Such as sliding doors or sliding windows need to know the thickness of the movable gap, generally the magnetic control handle is raised on the glass surface by at least 12mm (See Pic 3)
5-Door handle lift range, height not exceeding 1800mm. (Special large size will be controlled separately)
6-Door and window opening fans and sliding door handles need to avoid the magnetic control lifting handle, and pay attention to the marked position. (In principle, the lifting is on the opposite side of the handle)
